Chapter 99. Cassandra Walters

Michael’s POV

The party my cousin and his friends threw was starting to get fun when I caught a familiar distinct scent mixed with others scent in the bar.

My brain was in denial at first as my nose frantically sniffed around to figure out where the smell was coming from. My eyes located her and I froze when I really confirmed that it was Cassandra. I hadn’t seen her in two years since I’d been serving in the military.

I kept my gaze on her studying every detail of her face. She looked just the same except for her shoulder length straight brunette hair that used to be long wavy black hair.

‘Let’s go talk to her,’ Aiden, my wolf pushed.

“And what exactly am I supposed to say to her? Hi?”

‘Then are you going to sit here and keep watching her?’ he continued.

I sighed and ran my fingers through my head As I was about to stand up, I noticed a familiar figure sat beside her. My jaw clenched as I instantly recognised the face.
