I stared at my large palms silently, wondering why they suddenly appeared the most useless they have ever been as Sam raged and raged, and finally burst into tears.

Her scene did not cause the effect she must have envisioned. Olivia continued eating, Dean still had that smile on his face, and I sat there staring at my palms.
