Chapter 184. A Dangerous Plan

Olivia raised a questioning eyebrow as we climbed the short flight of stairs upstairs. And I started to chuckle, because the thought was just so funny.

She relaxed then, watching me in amusement.

“Your husband's bodyguards, the ones he assigned to tail you everywhere, are currently following a car headed for Louise’s house.”

She frowned as I punched the elevator open.

“They think Mrs Fletcher is in that car,” I said, and she smiled, getting the joke.

I caressed her lovely face with my knuckles, as the elevator shot up. “We're merely making a stop. There are two places I want to take you to,” I said.

“Where?”

“You’ll have to wait and see.” I smiled, and she returned my smile with a nod as the elevator halted, and the doors slid open.

I led the way to my office and pushed the door open. To my surprise, Tara Cox was in the seating area, working on her computer.

“Is your office on fire?” I asked, walking in.
