Chapter 41. Tomorrow We're Getting Married

Eve continued to cry while continuing to scream, even her body began to tremble in Allan's arms. Allan unconsciously tightened his embrace even more. And stroked Eve's trembling back.

"Calm down, Eve...! I'm here! Everything will be fine" Allan continued to try to calm Eve who seemed to be scared.

"My Mum, Dad, and Adeline...they-they're gone...gone! They left me alone, Allan! They...they..." Eve stuttered her words through tears. Allan's shirt even started to get wet on the front with Eve's tears. Eve tried to look up at Allan with a frightened look in her eyes.

"No, Eve! You're just dreaming! And it's a nightmare! Calm yourself...I'm here!" Allan tried to calm Eve down.

While Allan was busy calming Eve down, his servants rushed into Eve's room.

"Sir! What's going on? We heard what sounded like screaming..." one of the servants asked, and hung up his words when he saw the scene in front of him.
