Chapter 43. I'm Her Husband

That night neither Eve nor Allan could sleep well.

They tossed and turned left and right without being able to close their eyes.

Eve was dreading their first date, 'What is Allan planning exactly? Where is Allan taking her? What should I wear and what should I wear? Is it casual? Or should it be elegant?' Allan didn't give any hints to make it easier for Eve to prepare herself according to the place they were going to visit.

She didn't want to get the wrong costume which would be embarrassing later. In fact, she stood up again and looked at the wardrobe in her room, and began to check her clothes.

She did have some clothes, but they were all casual. The only elegant clothes she had were the ones Allan bought her when she attended dinner with her grandfather. The rest were non-existent. Eve didn't bring many clothes when she was kicked out of her house by her uncle. Even the clothes she brought were practically the ones that her uncle and aunt forcibly put in.
