Chapter 48. Eve and Allan's Cold War

Since their return from the beach date that ended in a mess and Eve's humiliation, Eve had become a little more reserved. Eve doesn't smile as much or joke around as she used to. She would only answer if asked. In fact, it's not uncommon for Eve to avoid Allan.

Eve chose to return to her work activities at Damian's Cafe, even though Allan had previously forbidden her. Eve just didn't want to always depend on Allan, and she also needed a distraction because of the hurt she received.

Eve would leave early in the morning when Allan had not yet left for the office. Because a few days later, Allan was finally allowed to occasionally come to the office by his grandfather, considering that his grandfather was still hospitalized. And the company couldn't be empty.

Like this morning, Allan went downstairs to the dining room for breakfast. Hoping to have breakfast with Eve before going to his office.
