In no less than one minute, she was surrounded by the three men. One stood in front of her, the other behind her, and the last by her left. The two men from the bar and another she didn’t recognize. They called for backup to execute their plans well. The alcohol was telling on Antonia now; her vision was becoming blurred. Seeing them all around her, she rolled her eyes and sighed like she was expecting them beforehand.

“What do you want now? Just say you want money and I will give it. You look like someone that needs alms anyway.” She directed her words to the one in bandanna who was earlier teasing her. Plus, he looked like the mastermind behind everything.

“Give us the bracelet, and we will let you go.” Antonia looked at him with ridiculous eyes.

“My bracelet? You are so stupid…” Antonia was speaking to them like she was having a normal casual conversation. She was never afraid or easily threatened by just mere words.
