She had one hour to do whatever she wanted before Reynolds came back from work with his complaints and policies. Alicia had learnt to adapt to Reynolds’s style. She was learning his likes and dislikes with him knowing.

“Do not move my things, do not touch my personal belongings without my knowledge, do not put the wet towel on the bed.” All these she had learnt the hard way.
The most painful of them was when she dropped her towel on the bed.
