Chapter 32

Adams was going through a file when someone knocked on his door.

"Come in." He said, not taking his eyes off the file.

Mike walked in looking so gloomy and lost, obviously what happened between he and May was taking its toll on him.

Adams raised his head to look at Mike, when he noticed the sad look on his face, he frowned.

"What happened? And what are you even doing here? Didn't I ask you to take a few days off." He scolded. "You're not even healed up yet.''

"I'm fine Adams.'' Mike replied as he took a sit in front of Adams, he then sighed deeply, then managed to force out a small smile. "Thank you for the car too, I really appreciate it."

Adams studied him for a while, he could easily tell that something was up with Mike, he dropped his file on his table. "What's going on? You look like someone who just got his heart broken."
