In his mind, he felt that she was deliberately ignoring Jim and in his mind, he felt it would be good to keep her busy with lots of work just the same way he used to do when he felt she was not heading to his request.

He then gave her a heap of papers to sort out for the day

She knew that she was going to be able to handle them and she sat in the office the entire day without going out to eat this day nobody remembered to bring her the food she normally used to have when she didn’t get to go for lunch.

It was because Lewis had been busy with work the entire day too and he had forgotten to go to the restaurant for lunch hence he also forgot to send in lunch to her as he would always do.

She was so indulged in work so much so that she began feeling as though she had a headache but she drank paracetamol she carried around with her whenever she felt tired and had a headache.
