I cut the call before Polinel could respond.

Returning the phone to the manager, he looks at me weird; like he heard my conversation with Polinel.

He seems to swipe the matter away quickly though. “Would you like to see your daughter being put in the freezer?” he asks.

I leave the morgue immediately. On entering the hospital waiting room, I see Zeath coming in through the exit.
