Darius’s POV
She jerked from her seat at the sound of my voice.
Good.
I punished the girl one moment, and the next, she was dining with my enemy of a brother. If common sense wasn’t far from her, I didn’t know what other explanation to give her foolishness.
I glared at her figure, new clothes from Rodolfo. My temper box kept checking and would soon explode.
She avoided my eyes, looking genuinely scared of what I would do. Damn right, she should be.
“Welcome home, brother,” Rodolfo said with one of his annoying smirks proudly pasted on his face.
My attention was still on the human girl, enjoying her timidness while my brain ran with thoughts of the perfect punishment.
“Come,” I said in a cold tone.
She didn’t hesitate, neither did she argue.
