“What? That is terrible!” My fingers trembled and a drop of sweat tickled my nape.

“I know and it hurts because I can’t help. Mother caught Frank having a BDSM with his mistress on their matrimonial bed and she wants to leave.”

“OMG! Cass, I’m so sorry about that.” I took his hand and rubbed it.

“Ma has decided to forfeit her position as queen and wants to go on her separate ways.”

“Oh no! That is serious, she’s heartbroken. What is Frank doing to ensure she doesn’t leave?”

“His mistress who used to be a loyal slave to ma is currently pregnant with a vampire and Frank claimed an empire can’t be respected without a queen to rule side by side with him.”

“That isn’t how politics work, Elena, a ruler can’t be dismissed for infidelity, the man will have his way around it however a cheating Queen is a disgrace to
