“You might want to go easy on the drinks,” he said with a chuckle. “Didn’t you say that to Jacques earlier?”

Pierre smiled up at his masked friend.

“I’m just excited. I haven’t traveled as much as any of you.”

“We’re also excited. My travels have been limited to the continent—you’ve made me feel interested in places much further afield, and I’ve always wanted to travel to the Far East.”

“Remember, this itinerary has infinite places along the way where we can stop,” Pierre replied, but he thought that if it veered too far from the places on Yuu’s postcards, he might need to make some side trips on his own. Yves reassured him that he was happy to follow Pierre’s muse and would like to learn how to sketch if Pierre would teach him on the journey.
