Chapter 42
Pierre followed Jacques out onto the deck to meet the others, who were admiring the coastline as they approached.
“There are some Ottoman mosques to see,” Jacques said as he opened the guidebook. “There’s the citadel and the palace.”
“How long do you want to stay?” Henri asked as he peered over Jacques’ shoulder at the book.
“A couple of days?” Jacques replied.
“That sounds good,” Pierre said and looked forward to catching some sights in the exotic places along the way on the search for Antoine.
They arrived at the port after half an hour and waited for the porters to take care of their luggage. Pierre still marveled at how many trunks and valises his friends had packed.
