Louis enlarged eyes fixed on the rumored dead king as he could not believe that he was present gazing at him.

Robert quickly put on his disguise and walked toward him giving him a sign not to say a word. “It is me, Louis. I am alive, not dead and I need your help,” he said to the bewildered soldier who couldn’t get his eyes off him.

“But,” Louis managed to say, his eyes scanning Robert in deep surprise. “King Robert, if you are alive, why did your kingdom declare you dead?” he inquired with a confused expression.
