Chapter 123. Bigger Problem

I was attempting to calm myself down before heading back to the house, where Chloe was most likely already waiting for me. So I went for a walk along the beach. I don't want her to get worried about me, so I couldn't stay here for long.

I was acutely aware that I had made a wrong move. The fact that I felt jealous while she was talking to Chad was a mistake on my part. I was only being paranoid when I thought that she might cheat on me like what Rosie did.

I was aware of the distinction between her and Rosie. I love her and I will never, ever compare her with my ex-wife who's a cheater and a liar, not to mention a gold-digger.

As I glanced up into the night sky and saw the stars shine as brightly as they could, I let out a deep breath and exhaled heavily. And when I looked closer, I noticed that one of them shone even brighter than the others.
