I was nearing the end of the dishwashing chore, but I was taking my time with it. Because of my boss, I had the impression that I didn't want to go back to the living room quite yet.

I wasn't expecting him to flirt with me, so I was caught off guard by his advances. Perhaps this was just one of his rehearsals for the celebration that will be taking place on Saturday. But it felt real. I don't think he's just putting on an act.

I had to give myself some time to gather my wits because the things he's doing to me were driving me nuts, like the way he's getting closer to me in the dining room, here in the kitchen---I don't get it.
