Chapter 40. More Than Attraction

I was seated at the mini bar with the guys, and we each had a beer in our hands as we watched the girls sing along to a song that was being played on the large screen while they drank shots of hard liquor. They were all terrible singers, but they looked to be enjoying themselves very much despite that fact.

My attention was drawn to Chloe, and I noticed a side of her tonight that took me by complete surprise, but I liked it. It appeared as though she had no trouble adjusting to the situation or making friends with the other girls.

She's the total opposite of Rosie in every way. My ex-wife was a horrible person who was bitchy whenever my friends were present. Every time we held a get-together like this, she never wanted to participate in any of the activities, and she spent her time whining about everything.
