Griffin’s POV

The silence in the room was comforting, but my mind churned with a thousand different thoughts. What if Evelyn suspected that I had taken Ethan? Would Nolan try to take him back and wage a war? That infuriated me, and I knew I didn’t have much time. I needed to get blood from the child before my chance was taken away yet again.
