Iris’s POV

I could not believe what my brother had done. When I saw the look in his eyes, it was as if he wasn’t the person I knew growing up. He had changed. I wanted to help him at first, knowing that Evelyn had hurt him by leaving him like she had. It couldn’t have been easy for Griffin to see his partner with someone else and the child he had raised not being in life anymore. But the idea of becoming Alpha and taking the throne from our father had made him greedy. He didn’t care about anything but himself.

I couldn’t let him continue with his messy plans, especially after seeing that poor innocent child lying asleep in the bed. He had no idea what was happening around him, and I knew I had to tell my father. He would put things right before things got any more out of hand.
