Chapter 49. We Will Have Evelyn Soon

Griffin’s POV

I growled at him to keep his voice down. I didn’t want anyone to hear him and I definitely did not want Ethan to get upset or worried.

“Griffin just give the kid back and be done with it. What are you running for?” Cameron tried to make me see sense but he didn’t understand.

Ethan was part of my life and I didn’t want to let him go again. Nolan didn’t deserve to be his father. He wasn’t the one who had raised the child. If I could just get Evelyn then maybe I could make her see sense? She would come back to me then if she saw Ethan was happy and I’d taken good care of him? Nolan was a nothing. He had always had the best of everything. It was my turn to be that person now.

“Cameron, you say you can help me? But can you really? I mean, help me get out of here. I need to get Evelyn out of Mystic and see her. I need to talk to her face to face and make her understand. She needs to give me a chance. I didn’t just take him for the sake of it.
