I clenched my teeth and stared at Evelyn. How could my mate have been so stupid, and why on earth was she saying those things about Griffin? Did she still care about him? I wanted to kill him even more so now. He would not get his hands on my mate; she was mine. She belonged to me and nobody else. But goddess, I could not be mad at her.
