Sofia’s POV

Sterling’s hand gripped my thigh firmly as we sat in the car together. He was still worked up from the encounter in his office.

“Stop the car.” He ordered Danny.

“Yes sir.” Danny pulled over.

“Now get out and go do something productive for a few minutes,” Sterling ordered.

“But sir—” Danny began but Sterling cut him off.

“Now.” It wasn’t up for debate.

“Yes sir.” Danny reluctantly agreed and then got out of the car.

Sterling made sure the doors were locked and then turned his attention to me.

“I can’t wait until we get home. I need you now.”
