Chapter 21. I Will Teach You

Avery’s POV

The sound of birds chirping outside the window slowly wakes me up. My entire body feels painful, and I can’t help but groan as I sit up on the bed. I look down my body and notice I am already dressed in a white long sleeve that definitely belongs to Ethan. After we were done last night, he carried me to the bathroom and cleaned me up. I was too tired to even put up a protest when he tended to me yesterday.

I turn my tired gaze to the sound of the bathroom door opening. I feel my cheeks heat as I take in the sight before me. Ethan is naked except for a towel hanging dangerously low on his waist and exposing his V line. His rock-hard abs and well-muscled body exposed to my gaze.

I hear him laugh. “You can take a picture, kitten.”

Feeling embarrassed, I turn my gaze away from him. “Good morning.” I mumble, trying to hide my embarrassment.
