Chapter 24. This Is Not Our Bedroom

Ethan’s POV

“Happy family shopping center?” I read out loud, my brows furrowing. There were many high-end shopping malls that I owned, but what the hell is this?

Pulling up the navigation system on the dashboard display, I type in the location and hit enter. I see the location appear on the map immediately. It’s quite a distance from here, located in the lower-class areas, and my heart starts pounding from panic. What if Dante tried hurting them?

“Fuck!” I curse increasing the speed of my car.

I park my car in the parking space before rushing out of it, but the sight of people gathered around an ambulance and a police car in front of the mall makes my movements halt.

A sense of dread fills me, and my mind swirls with many crazy thoughts, but I block the thoughts immediately. I am about to take a step forward when I hear a voice call.

“Ethan?”

I turn immediately, and the relief that washes through me is astounding.
