Chapter 22. Drama
Avery’s POV
I notice the worried looks in their eyes well, except Emilia, and I almost scoff when I see the look of ‘worry’ in Guilia’s eyes. Wondering what is wrong, I look down at my body, and I gasp loudly as I see red dots that appear on my hands and legs. I try to touch them, but Estella slaps my hand away, and that’s when it occurs to me that my skin is very itchy.
A nervous feeling rises in my chest. What was happening? I just started living with my sons! I feel tears of panic well up in my eyes, and my brain can’t even make sense of what the others are saying. It feels like forever, but I am slightly relieved as I see a young man dressed in a white coat rush into the pavilion. I immediately knew he was the doctor.
“Good morning, madam.” He greets me politely, but Nana only barks out an instruction for him to attend to me.
He comes to me, only taking a look at my hands, and I see his brown eyes struggle to hold the amusement in them. H
