Nothing happened between Adrian and I last night.
Well, when I say nothing happened, I meant we had spent half the night tangled in each other’s arms, kissing until my lips tingled, giggling between kisses, and cuddling so closely that I could hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
It was almost ridiculous how giddy I felt about it. Not just the kissing–which, let’s be honest, was so amazing, I wanted to kiss him forever–but the fact that we had just laid there, wrapped up in each other like we had all the time in the world. I never knew cuddling could make me feel so…alive. Like I was buzzing from the inside out.
