It’s been two weeks since I ripped Ashen apart, and even though I had waited for Alpha Rowan’s rage—to avenge his son—it never came. Talon told me that even Nina had disappeared into thin air and couldn’t be found, despite the bounty he placed on her. Her pictures were everywhere, plastered all over the media.
Everyone had heard about the kidnapping and how Ashen had intended to kill me, yet they still blamed me for defending myself against him. Many believed I wasn’t the one who killed him.
