Talon’s POV
Then I thundered. “He is a fucking heartless devil who thrive on dominance and cruelty.” My voice echd through the walls.
Riven’s mouth fell open. “What did he do?”
I clenched my fist tightly, paced around with my feet hitting the floor sharply. “Hockey is everything to me. He knows he can take away everything but definitely not hockey.” My rage morphed into pain and finally a trail of tears slid down my cheeks.
I have longed to play in the championship. I have worked harder than anyone else… but Magnus had taken it away without a second thought. “Haaaa!” I growled out as pain exploded through my heart. I pressed my palms to my face as more tears slid down.
Riven pulled me into an embrace. I thrashed hard against him—the hug was supposed to comfort me but it didn’t. It only felt suffocating like hell. “Leave me alone, Riven! Just leave me alone!”
But he didn’t leave me alone. He held me in his arms as I cried like a child. Pain,
