“Where am I?”

“Here with me,” she answers.

I blink my eyes, trying to see her, but they don’t open all the way. “Moon Goddess?”

“Lyra, you’ve done well,” she says. “Rest for a while, but do not give up the fight.”

“But it’s over, isn’t it?”

“No, child,” she says.

“But they turned back,” I argue. “They are normal again.”

“The amulet only freed those in the immediate vicinity,” she explains. “The threat still remains.”

“But I can’t be everywhere,” I say. “How can I end this threat?”

I try to blink again. I feel my eyes fluttering open, but all I see is a blinding light surrounding me.
