Chapter 161. War Meeting
King Japhet let out a silent groan, his fingers interlaced in front of his face, his elbow resting on the meeting table as his honey-colored eyes sparkled in the candle hue. He stared quietly at his generals sitting along the table’s lengths, arguing with six other generals from the kingdoms of Sol and Venus.
“All the attacks Venus and Sol have laid on the supernaturals have been to no avail so far, only leading to the loss of hundreds of Valtorian soldiers. We can no longer risk the lives of our men if all you’re going to do is fail!” One of the eight Valtorian generals yelled angrily. He looked to be in his late thirties, with long black hair, night-black eyes that gleamed like pearls in the candlelight, and light wrinkles beneath his eyes. He was fully clothed in glistening silver armor and had a sword across his back. His name was Alvin.
