Chapter 176. The Vague History
Over a thousand years ago, after the appearance of the Great Wall, Sun-World burned.
The battle for dominance among the four human kingdoms raged for decades, reminding the people that the Great Religious War was not just because of differing beliefs but because the people yearned for violence and bloodshed. The supernaturals watched silently from afar, fearing that if they interfered, things would become far worse.
Led by King Japhet the Second and kings after him, the Valtorian army conquered Sun-World piece by piece. They took lands from the Sol, Venesian, and Eldrian empires over the period of four hundred years, almost taking over all of the human parts of Sun-World before the drought came.
Sunworld slowly withered after the drought started; crops died and rivers dried out. Species by species, animals went extinct, and food became limited in Valtoria, forcing the king and his generals to cease attacks on the human kingdoms. Four hundred years of battle paused
