Chapter 65. Secret of the Dark
“Celene…” Calliope’s voice sounded softly in my head, echoing for a few seconds before fading into complete silence.
“Celene…” it came again. All I could see for miles was darkness, and my entire body felt stiff, just like before—before my rampage.
I let out slow breaths, my heart rate increasing. I couldn’t shake off this feeling of utter terror that made my skin crawl—this feeling that made me feel like something evil was nearby.
“What are you still doing in my head? Why can’t you just leave me alone?” I asked with a pained voice as tears filled my eyes. Blue light suddenly appeared before me, and in a matter of seconds, grew into a blue flame. The flame grew until it was the size of a person, and as it burst into a thousand beautiful blue sparks, Calliope appeared in front of me.
“I live in your head because you let me, Celene. And I will continue to taunt you day and night until you accept what you’ve become,” Calliope replied.
“What do you mean?”
