Chapter 66. Eleanor and Steven
“So, what happened during the last Centurion eclipse?” I asked, taking a bite out of an apple as we traveled slowly through a tall field of barley under the sunset. From my experience at the bar with Sylvia, I had found that I could eat fruit as well.
I and Moriah sat on our horses, soaking in the rays of the sun as they bathed us gracefully.
“The last Centurion eclipse; very, very dark, terrible times,” Moriah let out with a sigh. Her crimson eyes sparkled underneath the rays of the sun, and strands from her silky black hair danced slowly in the soft breeze that blew by.
“What happened?” I asked again, turning to her. Her words got me even more curious than before.
