Chapter 83. Natural Talent
~Sun-World, Haunters Camp~
Alethea stood in the middle of a training ground in the Haunters camp late at night. Surrounded by large tents, she was enclosed in the large space with no obstacles or people that would hinder her training session, which was about to start. Strands from her silky blond hair dance about in the soft wind that blew by, and her sparkling blue eyes were hidden by a thick blindfold.
Alethea moved her head from side to side, holding up her sword tightly. She was trying to sense something—anything that would tell her from what direction her attacker would come, but it wasn’t only her eyes that had been rendered insensate, but her ears as well.
“Calm yourself, Alethea. Stop trying to hear or see. Let your body decide what to do; let your instincts decide,” Desmond's voice echoed. Although Alethea's ears were blocked, Desmond’s voice was loud enough for her to hear. Although she couldn’t pinpoint his exact location as he was moving around.
