Chapter 27. Your Lips

Mia cleared her throat softly. “Um, I got his number from his office, and apparently, he picked up my phone, so here I am!” she said lightly. Keira just nodded her head. Actually, she had a little suspicion of her but chose to believe in her. “So, are you heading somewhere?” asked Mia, examining Keira from head to toe.

“Yeah, we’re planning to do a wedding dress fitting. Would you like to come with us?” she asked with a big smile on her face.

“Oh wow! So much fun! Since you’re doing well and Ben looks after you, I’ll just go! Remember, don’t listen to anything people say about you! Call me if you need anything!” chirped Mia. She patted her lightly on the shoulder, waved her hand at Ben, and walked away, leaving the two of them alone.

“Are you ready?” Ben asked, glancing at Keira briefly, somewhat mesmerized by her classy and elegant appearance.
