She hastily put her clothes back on and walked quickly to the door to check if Julia had arrived, and it turned out that she was right. In front of Ben, Julia gazed deeply at him. “It’s not over yet, Ben. Do you remember what you told me back then, that we would never be apart?” she muttered, attempting to get into his mind.
“Don’t be ridiculous. You know it’s over. By the time you betrayed me, everything wasn’t the same anymore,” he said coldly, his hands clenched tightly. Julia threw the most powerful weapon a woman could have—crying. She sobbed and plopped down on the floor.
“I spent my days regretting what I have done to you. You know I didn’t mean to do that! That was an accident...” she said between sobs, her shoulders shaking violently.
