Chapter 30. Getting Back Together

“I’m sorry, Luke, this is completely wrong! I’m in a relationship with Benjamin; I can’t do this!” Keira withdrew her body and turned her face to the window, disappointing Luke and the driver, who seemed to be waiting for a kiss scene.

“Please be honest with me. Are you really in love with that arrogant man?”

Keira breathed heavily, “Whatever my answer is, it’s none of your business! Excuse me, sir, can you pull over?” she said, patting the driver on the shoulder quickly.

“I’m sorry, Luke. I’m not feeling well. After seeing what you could do, I think you’ll be fine,” she said quickly.

The car pulled over; she opened the door, and just as she was about to jump down, Luke’s hands grabbed her.

“Kei, please...” he said with a pleading face.

“I’m sorry,” she replied as she slowly released his hand. She jumped onto the sidewalk and walked briskly away from the car still parked there. Her mind was perplexed, and she didn’t know what she was doing.
