Chapter 36. The Truth
“It’s about someone’s life! He’s bleeding, for God’s sake!” shouted Keira, frustrated. Ben shrugged, “He’s already in the right hands right now. Your presence won’t help much. He’s just seeking attention,” he said casually. Keira breathed heavily, walking back and forth with her fists clenched tightly.
“Why? What’s with that expression?” snapped Ben irritably. She stopped walking and then turned to him with her arms folded across her chest, “Why do you hate him so much? I mean, we’re not in a real relationship. You shouldn’t react that way,” she said with a frown.
Ben gulped, “I told you already; I don’t want people seeing you with that guy; that’s inappropriate, and you know it!”
“Inappropriate? I was going to see him! Do you think I’m gonna kiss him or what?” snapped Keira in disbelief.
Ben moved closer, “I won’t let you do that,” hissed him almost in a whisper.
Keira instantly felt goosebumps, “Why? I won’t kiss him in public anyway,” teased her,
