Chapter 47. Bared to You

Ben moved closer to her. “Why do you care? Shouldn’t you be afraid of me? That’s how Julia reacted when I told her I killed my father,” he said in bewilderment. Keira gulped. She didn’t know the answer.

“Don’t talk about me. It’s about you and your reputation. Call Julia right now and beg her to stop. She’ll listen to you,” she said, staring intently at Ben, who was still busy examining her expression.

“I won’t do that!” he shook his head.

“WHY?!” shouted Keira desperately.

“I said I will not do that, and that’s the final answer!” he walked away from her, heading to the door.

She chased him and blocked his way, “Ben! Please!” she reached both of his hands and gripped them tightly.

But Ben stuck to his decision, “No!”

“WHY? Don’t you care about how it will affect your business? The image you built from scratch!” raved Keira, still not giving up.

“Because she would ask me to leave you!” yelled Ben impatiently.

Keira gulped, let go
