Chapter 53. The Clue

In her room, Keira was pacing restlessly. She’d just watched Julia’s interview on ABC TV, and the whole interview had pushed Ben. She felt she had to do something to help him but didn’t know where to start. The only way was to get the psychiatrist handling little him to talk, but she didn’t even know the psychiatrist’s name and where she was.

Suddenly, a knock on the door startled her, “Miss Evans, dinner is ready; Granny is waiting for you in the dining room,” a maid said politely.

Keira nodded, “I’ll be down in a minute, thanks!” she said cheerfully, covering the restlessness in her heart. She went to the bathroom to wash her face to look fresher; she would not let Granny or her parents find out about the turmoil in her heart. After putting light makeup on her face, she tied her hair in a ponytail and went downstairs to the dining room.
