Chapter 22. Lost Consciousness
What are those memories? Why were Leon and me there? Many memories and scenes suddenly appear in my mind that I cannot understand.
I no longer knew myself. I am overwhelmed with strange feelings. I am damn smitten.
My head hurts when I wake up. Leon and I are in the room. The last thing I remember was my head hurt so much last night. The woman was on her lap, and I rushed at the woman before I lost consciousness.
I noticed that my dress was new.
“Ma’am Angelica! How are you now?” the maid asks.
“I’m okay; where is he?”
“he’s in the office downstairs. Ma’am, Sabrina is talking to him.”
My ear tingled—that girl. I no longer trust any woman. It hurts in my heart to see someone holding Leon, and I’m not too fond of that kind of pain.
“All right, nanny, I’ll just go to her.”
