Chapter 9. A Shitty Day
After receiving answers from Rachel’s family, Mario promptly left the room to attend to his duties. Mario was a general practitioner and had his own practice at the hospital’s general polyclinic. Besides his handsome appearance, Mario was a trusted and reliable doctor, well-regarded by the hospital. He treated his patients with a friendly demeanor, making them feel comfortable and at ease. And, of course, his good looks only added to the experience, spoiling the patients a bit.
Meanwhile, Rachel, who remained in Mr. Hans’s room, signed wearily. She walked over to her father and took a seat right beside him. In each hospital bed, there was a waiting chair pocket and a nightstand.
“Why the long face, Rachel? Are you upset because your husband is at work?” Mr. Hans teased his daughter.
