“We didn’t allow him inside, miss.” She turned to see the mechanic wipe his hands and approach her. She realized who he was talking about.

“Did he want to come inside?” she gestured towards Rob and the man nodded.

“He’s been trying for almost an hour. He wants to see you, but I couldn’t allow him inside without Matteo’s permission.”

“Thanks a lot. He is Rob Phantom, a criminal. I couldn’t reach out to Matteo yet. Did you call him?”

“No, I called Freddie and explained about the man. I’ll just tell him the name you mentioned. Don’t worry, miss. You’re quite safe here in the office room.”

“Thank you. Will you tell Matteo I’m waiting here for him?”

“Sure. I’m Bruce, by the way.” Amelia smiled at him with a nod.

“I’m Amelia!” Bruce smiled and nodded too.

“I know. Matteo likes you a lot. I’m here with him since the beginning but this is the first time I saw him care about a woman so much.”
