Chapter 37. Brooklyn Is Kidnapped

Officer Warner spoke to the Traffic Police Headquarters who controlled the area in and around Willamette and its adjoining areas.

“Yes, we’re heading that way. The warehouse is on the outskirts of Woodburn. Did the car head that way? Yes, thank you. Over and out,” said the officer. After he disconnected the call, he turned towards Nikolas.

“The traffic police had tracked the car which was seen at your office. It’s headed towards the old warehouse on the outskirts of Woodburn where we are going right now. Most probably, they’ve kept Brooklyn and Brandon there,” said the officer.

His phone again buzzed with an incoming call from the officer who was tracking Brooklyn’s mobile phone. After speaking to him, officer Warner disconnected the call and turned towards him.

“We’ve traced Brooklyn’s phone to Salem nearby. I don’t understand whether she’s taken been away to Woodburn or Salem?” asked the officer.
