Chapter 83. Mr. Knightbridge's Advances

“Sure, I’ll be honored to give you a tour,” said Nikolas, feeling frustrated inwardly since he wanted to get back to his office and see his Brooklyn.

For the next two hours, he felt impatient as Knightsbridge checked out his whole setup. Finally, the ordeal was over and they walked towards the main entrance. Nikolas was eager to see him off and get back to his office.

“I’m really impressed with your setup, Nikolas. You’ve shown me everything except your own office,” he complained.

Nikolas wanted to tear his hair off with exasperation. He had no interest in showing his office to Knightsbridge, as he didn’t want him to meet Brooklyn. She was his, and he didn’t want the young and dashing Knightsbridge to woo her with his charms. With his killer looks and his exceptional charm, he knew Knightsbridge could easily bowl over any woman he wanted.
