Upon hearing this, Elliot seemed very hurt, his brows furrowed tightly together, his eyes full of pain as he looked at Serena.

To be honest, Serena felt a bit uneasy when she saw the sadness in his eyes. Although she enjoyed it when she spoke harshly to him, seeing him like this made her feel a little guilty.

She turned away, not wanting to look at him any longer, and said, “I hope we never talk about love again, or say anything about staying together for the children. Besides our two children, I don’t want anything to do with you in the future!”

Elliot was taken aback by her words. Serena turned her back to him and said, “I’m tired. I want to rest.”

Elliot looked at Serena in pain and said, “I’m leaving.”

He then walked to the door and said, “Spring, I’ll have Walter bring her back tonight.”

“Thank you,” Serena pretended to be strong and said.

Elliot didn’t say anything. He looked at her back for a second before turning and walking out.
