Caius’s POV (Talon’s Beta, Green Moss Pack)

“Darn it! Where did that woman take him?” I gritted through my teeth as the rest of the Green Smoke Gang and the Shadow boys tried to search for him with me.

“Caius, just don’t worry, ok? She is harmless,” Nyssa assured me.

“Yeah! I just saw how “harmless” she was,” I stressed on the word- harmless while gesturing double quotes with my fingers as I replayed the moments just before Talon got knocked out.

I had tried to rush to my friend’s rescue but I was too late as I helplessly saw the girl take him away in her arms.

“Nyssa is right dude. Just rest for tonight. Talon will be back by tomorrow,” Draven promised. “He is with the Alpha’s daughter. She will surely take care of him for the night.”
