While the powerful Alpha of the Water Moon Pack dragged back his gorily hurt, future mate over the rocks and secured her back to safety, his eyes misted as he looked at her swollen, bashed head.

How cruel could those barbaric beasts be?

“This is all my fault,” he whispered as a tear slipped down his cheeks and fell on his nerd’s face. His pretty nerd’s face.

It was happening. It was happening all over again, just the way it happened a decade back. History was repeating itself. His mother lay there just like that while a young little Lex’s tears incessantly poured over her lifeless body.

His mother was hurt saving him once, he was not going to let another innocent’s life get ruined due to him. Those rogues were surely going to get a taste of their own medicine or rath
